Fixed route service is what most people think of when they envision transit: a bus that travels along the same route at regular times each day and has regular bus stops.
PDRTA operates 7 fixed-route bus services in the greater city of Florence area via the Florence Transit System.
The Florence Transit System consists of Routes 1, 2, 3, 4 & 7, and 2 Downtown Shuttle routes, DART, and the Florence-Darlington Commuter.
PDRTA's Fixed Route Services are available in Florence, Darlington, Chesterfield, Dillon, and Marlboro Counties.
The Florence Transit System, DART, and LakeTran routes require a small fare- fare cards are available for multi-ride discounts.
The HART, CCAT (Chesterfield County Area Transit), DCAT (Dillon County Area Transit), and MARTi (all Marlboro county) routes are fare-free.  Whether a person's destination is work, medical appointments, hospital visits, education, shopping, or recreation, PDRTA's fixed-route transit systems across the six counties are an economical means to access the many amenities of the Pee Dee.
PDRTA 's Commuter Services into Florence-Bennetsville-Cheraw-Johnsonville-Pamplico-Latta & Hamer give people in other communities the opportunity to get to work and school in the connecting cities. The Florence-Darlington commuter buses connect with the Florence Transit system, making over 200 destinations easily accessible, year-round.
Expansion potentials for connections from all six counties are on the horizon and will significantly increase the accessibility of the residents of the Pee Dee Region.
