We take pride in knowing we carry you on all of life's adventures.

Forming in 1974, we were the first Regional Transportation Authority formed in the state of South Carolina. Within 2 years, we began serving the six counties that make up the Pee Dee region – Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Marion, and Marlboro. Our first group of customers were those who were enrolled in the federal job training programs. For over 40 years, we have helped transport our home community.

How much does it cost to ride the Florence Transit Routes?
A single-ride pass is only $1.50, but depending on your schedule and plans, we also offer 10-Ride, 20-Ride and a 30-Day Rolling pass at a discounted rate.
Does PDRTA offer any discounted fares?
Yes! We do. Any senior citizens 65 years or older, all US Veterans and disabled persons with a "PDRTA-issued photo ID".
