Why Is PDRTA Combining Bennettsville A/B Routes Together?

While reviewing the Bennettsville routes we saw that both routes A and B covered many of the same stops. We determined that if routes A and B were combined the wait times between drop off and pickup up could be shortened. We decided that in the best interest of our riders we would combine both routes. In early June PDRTA provided a public hearing and comment period. Based on the feedback we have decided to move forward with consolidating routes A and B. 

Are any other changes going to occur?

PDRTA constantly reviews all our bus routes, and to better serve all the PEE DEE some changes are going to need to be made. However, whenever major changes occur PDRTA will post on all the buses in the area when a public hearing will occur to discuss major changes and to get feedback on any proposed changes. During this time, we highly encourage all our riders to call or email us to discuss these changes.
