PDRTA PARTNERS WITH FLORENCE COUNTY VETERANSposted on Monday, February 27, 2017 PDRTA PARTNERS WITH FLORENCE COUNTY VETERANS The Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority has partnered with the Florence County Veterans Affairs .Office to provide free bus transportation on scheduled PDRTA bus routes in Florence and Lake City. By presenting their issued VA photo identification, any veteran can ride the service fare-free starting Wednesday March 1 through June 30 this year. The two organizations are optimistic that the partnership can be extended beyond June, subject to funding. PDRTA Executive Director Chuck MacNeil added "This is a wonderful partnership to extend a transportation benefit to those who have served our county and all of us.
